With labels on the reverse from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon (no. 160), and from the Grand Palais – Galeries Nationales (Selves), Paris (no. 305).
An alternative title for this work is Verre blanc ailes rouges (White glass, red wings). According to Marta Soares, documentation preserved in the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso family estate supports the attribution of this title to the present painting.
