Additional Information

Provenance:
Chapel of Paço Lobo da Gama, Évora
Note:
Removed from location in the 1940s this altar was donated by the
owners of Paço Lobo da Gama for the chapel of a new hospital in
Évora that was never built.
After a few decades without destination the piece returned to the
family and some restorations were made
It is with enthusiasm that Veritas presents this unusual piece to
the market, both for its dimensions and quality being a perfect
example of the Portuguese woodwork mastery in the 18th century
