Acording to some authors this is probably the first map of Portugal. Published for the first time in Rome in 1560 unde the title "Tabula Geografica Portugalliae". The present map is a version published in the Abraham Ortelius' atlas, "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum", released in 1570.
