In the collection of the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, we can observe several photos where Queen Maria Pia appears with an umbrella. In inventory photograph f62608 taken during a tour in Sintra at thr Capuchos convent, the Queen is holding an umbrella very similar to this lot.
