Description
Qing dynasty, late 19th century (Guangxu period)
Each of circular section, inspired by archaic ritual bronze gu (觚), with flaring trumpet neck, bulbous central knop and spreading foot, applied with four serrated vertical flanges
Decorated in polychrome enamels on a turquoise ground with taotie masks, stylised kui-dragon scrolls (kuilongwen), baoxianghua scrolls and geometric motifs
(surface wear, losses, minor deformations and traces of old restorations)
清代晚期(光绪时期,十九世纪末)铜胎掐丝珐琅仿古觚一对,圆形截面,喇叭口,鼓腹,外撇足,四道出戟。绿松石蓝地上以多彩珐琅饰饕餮纹、夔龙纹及宝相花卷草纹。
