Chinese export porcelain
Naturalistically modelled, each in the form of a turtle, with raised head and the shell forming the removable cover
With polychrome decoration on biscuit, in dark charcoal-green tone, the head in ivory tone and the underside in orange-brown
Qing dynasty, second half of the 18th century
(one cover with consolidated hairline crack and chip, interior of one box with restoration)
