Decorated with panels of ray-skin (samegawa or samekawai), and mother-of-pearl inlay (raden) forming geometric friezes, together with gilt maki-e floral reserves and geometric borders.
Pierced and engraved copper mounts, including lock and corner fittings.
Interior lacquered and decorated with floral motifs.
