Additional Information

Note:

The theme of the "Three Abundances", sanduo, brings together three auspicious wishes: the peach symbolises longevity (shou), the finger citron happiness (fu, through homophony with "Buddha"), and the lychee or pomegranate fertility and numerous descendants (zi). A recurrent theme in imperial Qing porcelain, it expresses the threefold blessing bestowed upon the recipient.
