Description

Qing Dynasty, 18th century, impressed 'He Chaochun' double-gourd seal mark to the back

Chinese porcelain, Dehua kilns

The bodhisattva presented with a serene expression and downcast eyes, seated and leaning on an armrest, with her right leg raised supporting the corresponding hand

Wearing flowing robes that completely conceal the left arm and expose only one foot, with her hair gathered in a topknot and adorned with a beaded necklace

Resting on a later custom carved wood stand simulating rockwork

(glaze with minor firing flaws; right hand missing the thumb)
