Description

Chiseled and gilt bronze, oval form, on four feet, with pierced gallery decorated with cut-out frieze
At the centre, a two-branch candelabrum in the form of cornucopias, with glass binets and bobeches, set on a gadrooned attic vase with pinacle-form lid, decorated with laurel garlands
Flanked by two cylindrical containers with lids (one for ink and the other for sand) ornamented with festoons and beaded frieze
Probably Northern Europe, early 19th century
