Description

Finely chiseled and gilt bronze
Each candelabrum with six curved branches, decorated with acanthus leaves and surmounted by fluted binets, with removable bobeches
Central branch in the form of a palm tree, with binet topped by a flame-shaped candle snuffer
Shaft in the form of a fluted column decorated at the terminals with palmettes in relief and set on a guilloche sphere with petal friezes
Tripod base, formed by three zoomorphic supports in the form of lion's paws, adorned with acanthus lambrequins and set on a triangular plinth with a frieze of lanceolate leaves
France, c. 1830
