The sale included early European and Chinese porcelain, jades, rock crystals, objets de vitrine, bronzes, clocks, furniture, tapestries and prints.

\r\nThe present pair corresponds to lot 269 in the sale of the Collection \u00c9douard Chappey, Galerie Georges Petit, Paris, 11-15 March 1907, described in the catalogue as:
