These pieces, often commissioned by nobles and merchants, constitute rare testimonies to the circulation of images and admiration for European architecture.<br \/>\r\nChristiansborg Royal Palace, depicted on the present dish, was the residence of the kings of Denmark until 1794 and, since the mid-19th century, has housed the Danish Parliament.
