Based on his investigations into geometry, number and geometric relationships, Almada Negreiros considers that the panels were originally designed for the north wall of the Founder's Chapel in the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vit\u00f3ria, in Batalha. These panels would be part of an altarpiece set, composed by 15 boards, which would also include the \"Ecce Homo\" from the Museum of Ancient Art, once attributed to Nuno Gon\u00e7alves.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAuthenticated by the artist's son, Arq.
