\nThe decoration of this beautiful \u2018Qingbai\u2019 bowl from the Jingdezheng kilns is clearly influenced by \u2018Ding\u2019 pieces with molded decoration produced in Hebei province during the 12th century. \u2018Ding\u2019 bowls with similar shape and decoration can be found at the National Palace Museum in Taipei and published in: \u201cDecorated Porcelain of Dingzhou. White Ding wares from the collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei 2014\u201d, pp. 183, 184-185. At page 244 of the same catalogue, in a section titled \u201cDing porcelains and their influence\u201d, there is a conical bowl in all very similar to the one we are presenting, produced in Jingdezheng kilns under influence of \u2018Ding\u2019 kilns, between the 12th and 14th centuries.
