They are particulalry well known for their somewhat precocious interpretation of the \"Arts & Crafts\" style on silver objects, having produced tea sets, boxes, bowls, baskets and writing sets.<br \/>\nThey also made replicas of important pieces, including those originating from archaeological discoveries, namely from Mycenae and Assyria.<br \/>\nRetailing under the name NATHAN & HAYES they opened stores in Birmingham and in London's Hatton Street.<br \/>\nHAYES seems to disappear from the records in 1912, although the firm maintains its operation under the same NATHAN & HAYES name. It will later be rescued by S.
