In 1830 his eldest son, Charles, enters the company as business director and, in 1847, opens the first PILLIVUYT store at 46 rue de Paradis in Paris.<br \/>\nThe firm is awarded its first gold medal at the 1855 Universal Exhibition. Also present at the 1862 Universal Exhibition, in London, this porcelain manufacture reinforces its reputation with another gold medal at the 1867 Universal Exhibition.
