With case and documents.","additional_info":[{"title":"Note","text":"It was in 1883 that Josef Pallweber, an Austrian watchmaker living in Salzburg registered the patent of a mechanism that showed us time in a new way. The first digital watch was born.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nInstead of a conventional way of showing us time (with two hands pointing to hours and minutes), this mechanism used three discs to tell us the hours and minutes through two windows in a dial (also known as Jumping Hours).<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nPallweber granted the license of this creation to IWC and, between 1884 and 1890, the brand sold approximately 17,000 units.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nWe can say that the purpose of the brand and Pallweber was to make these watches unique heirlooms. These pieces of Art used cutting-edge technology for the time, while maintaining the traditions of a careful, hand-made production.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nReturning now to 2018, the year of IWC's jubilee celebration, the brand decided to pay tribute to Pallweber by redesigning and developing a new mechanism to equip IWC's first and only mechanical digital wristwatch. Only 500 units of three versions of this timeless, unique, and highly collectible treasure were
