Description

Set of nine screenprints in a fold-out format, printed on both sides and in different colours, produced in the context of an event to be held at the Teatro da Cantina Velha. The front bears the inscription “NON VOLO VOLO & DEFICIOR”, while the reverse features a previously unpublished poem by Gil Vicente, conceived for presentation upon the death of Queen D. Leonor. The works are signed, numbered and dated 19 December 1981.

Each screenprint bears a different numbering, consisting of a letter and a number, with each letter corresponding to a specific colour: yellow (D 25), blue (B 25), lilac (A 39/43), black (I 27), two red impressions (E 25 and E 26), grey (F 26), green (G 25) and brown (H 25).
