European silver
Central plate with scene of the crucifixion of Christ, surrounded by fluttering angels and flanked by Our Lady and St. John at the foot of the cross.
Caryatids, on both sides of the plate, raised and partly hollowed out, support the central scene and connect with the two angels that top the ensemble.
Back with wide ribbon-like handle.
Possibly Spanish silver, 17th Century
