No verso do ícone encontra-se um bilhete manuscrito, indicando que a peça é considerada milagrosa e que terá pertencido a uma posse imperial russa, antes de ser oferecida por alguém chamado Mashka. O bilhete menciona ainda que deveria ser entregue a "Rosi" no futuro. A assinatura ou remetente não é completamente legível.
