Note:
Sculpture originating from the side altar of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Luz chapel, at the town of Arronches. According to father Luís Cardoso "the said church has another two side altars, one of Saint Nicholas of Tolentino on the epistle side, and another ff Saint John The Baptist on the gospel side. Well sculpted image that Martim Tavares brought from Cacheu where he was Governor; he was the founder of this chapel together with his wife Maria Carrasca Tavares, where they are burried."
