Silvered brass dial with black numbers, hours, minutes and calendar
Signed "John Monkhouse, London"
Gilt corners with scalloped mounts decorated with floral motifs
With a smaller dial for seconds and other two windows for "Strike/ No Strike" and "Chime/ No Chime"
Top with moon phases and melody selection mechanism
Blue steel pointers
Brass mechanism with carillon comprising twelve bells and cylinder with twelve melodies
Faux-bois painted case and gilt floral clusters (originally lacquered and gilt decorated)
