Additional Information
Note: The salver now offered for sale is an extraordinary silver work of the portuguese barroque. For its unusual weight and craft this piece is surely production of a Braga workshop in the second half of the 17th century where there are records of foreign silversmiths working at the time, specially Italians.
This salver is pair with the one kept in Braga''s Cathedral Treasure with exactly same dimensions and decoration except the latter gilding.
