Cylindrical body, the belly carved in high relief with a narrative frieze depicting a mythological scene of Hermes and a shepherd approaching the Graces (Charites), on three scroll feet.
Double-volute handle with acanthus leaf and rosette ornament.
Cover surmounted by a sculptural group of Hercules battling the Nemean Lion.
Central Europe, 19th century.
