Additional Information

This cardboard was used for the execution of one of the stained glass that decorated the galleries of "Café Portugal". The coffee house was founded by the powerfull company "Cafés Reunidos" and was open from 1938 until the 50's. The coffee house was located at Praça D. Pedro IV, in Lisbon, and was designed by the architect Luís Cristino da Silva, with the participation of Jorge Barradas, Leopoldo de Almeida and Roberto Araújo.
On the stained glass presented by Veritas in 2014 there is the following inscription: "desenho de Jorge Barradas 1938 Execução Atelier R. Leone" (drawing by Jorge Barradas 1938/ Executed by Atelier R. Leone).
