Additional Information

Built between 1902 and 1906 for the banker Cândido Sotto Mayor (1852-1935) the house occupies a large plot on the eastern side of Fontes Pereira de Melo Avenue.
The original plan was drawn by Architect Ezequiel Bandeira with the cooperation of Architect Carlos Alberto Correia Monção.
The final plan was signed by the military engineer António Rodrigues Nogueira.
Under heritage classification process the building was remodelled and is now part of a larger complex that includes the palace itself, a hotel, a gym, an office building and underground parking
