Additional Information

Integrated in the equipment of the Portuguese representation of the Universal Exhibition in Osaka, in 1970, the chair that took its name quickly became a mark of Portuguese design. Today is one of the most remarkable chairs in our design history.
The practical sense, combined with a modern aesthetic, in Rietveld's manner, quickly led to the chair's commercial edition, albeit with the modest commercial success that modernity received in Portugal.
