On his return to Greece and passing throught Aethiopia, Perseus saw Andromeda - daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, kings of Aethiopia - tied near a rock and fell in love. Perseus eventually defeats Poseidons monster and Cepheus offered him Andromeda as wife. Perseus also had to face the former fiancé of Andromeda and his friends. Anxious to finally arrive to Serifos and facing so many opponents, he cut Medusas head leaving his enemies petrified.
