Additional Information

These pieces are most probably from the palace of Conde do Bolhão in Oporto.
Built after 1844 the palace was one of the most luxurious residences of the romantic period in that city.
The Bolhão balls became famous and inspired the great writer Camilo Castelo Branco, protégé of the count.
The Portuguese Royal Family slept there twice.
