Surmounted by a sculptural group depicting Napoleon in equestrian pose, mounted on a walking horse, wearing uniform and bicorne hat, on a rocky formation, at the centre of which is set a circular dial in white enamel with Roman numerals
Stepped rectangular base with friezes and applied relief decoration of acanthus leaves, at the centre an imperial eagle with open wings, resting on military trophies in high relief, and raised on four volute feet with continuous frieze of scrollwork
