In 1880, Christofle acquires the Alfénide manufacture and the renowned "Orfèvrerie Gallia". The Gallia collection maker's mark, created by Christofle in 1898, features a cockerel within a shield accompanied by the motto "Gallia métal", "Orfèvrerie Gallia" or "Gallia".
CHRISTOFLE is currently reissuing certain Art Nouveau pieces from the Gallia collection. The "OEillets" bezel or the "Chardons" tray are similar to this cup.
