Polished ground, crimped edge
Border decorated with the monogram ON surmounted by the imperial crown (Grand Duchess Olga Nikolayevna Romanova, Queen of Württemberg (1822-1892)) and on the opposite side a crowned double-headed eagle
St. Petersburg marks (1840) of assayer Dmitry Tverskoy (1834-1851), silversmith's mark of Henrik August Lang (1830-1850) and commercial mark N&P of Nicholls & Plincke (1829-1880) suppliers to the Russian Imperial Court
