With the purpose of creating a new prestigious set in the Art Deco taste, the House of BACCARAT introduces the "Talleyrand", a new variant to the famous set Harcourt.
This new model is characterised by the purity of its lines and for the absence of the tall stem, as per the fashion of the time.
The Talleyrand is published in the Baccarat Arts of the Table 1933 catalogue, and its production was be maintained up until the late 20th century, a fact that explains that some pieces feature acid etched marks, which were only used from 1936 onwards, as replacements for the traditional paper labels.
