Maker Alphonse DEBAIN, comprising of 6 table forks (l.21 cm), 6 soup spoons (l.21 cm), 6 table knives of stainless steel blades (l.24 cm), 6 dessert spoons (l.17 cm), 6 dessert forks (l.17 cm), 6 cheese knives of stainless steel blades (l.20 cm) e 6 mocha spoons (l.12 cm) of neoclassical decoration with ribbon and acanthus fileting and engraved english script monogram with foliage
Hallmarks: Minerva 1st grade, master silversmith AD with woodcock for Alphonse DEBAIN, silversmith in Paris 1883-1911, the blades marked EXTRA INOX RF

Alphonse DEBAIN, master silversmith in Paris between 1883-1911, based at 79, rue du Temple, Paris.
He was a grandson to master silversmith François-Alphonse DEBAIN, eventually succeeding to goldsmith Philippe BERTHIER and retaking the latter hallmark symbol, a woodcock.
