Additional Information

A very similar pair of tankards is illustrated by Christiaan J. A. Jörg in Famille Verte: Chinese Porcelain in Green Enamels (Groninger, 2011, cat. 143), where the author notes that this model was produced only during a short period and that known examples show very similar decoration. Another comparable example is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London (inv. 2010EC4387).
