Chinese export porcelain
Each tureen modelled as a boar's head with open mouth, revealing teeth, tusks and pendant tongue
The cover corresponding to the upper part of the head, fitting into the recessed rim
Decorated with polychrome enamels in a naturalistic manner, with fur in grisaille tones, snout, ears and lips in beige, and the interior of the mouth, tongue and gums highlighted in pink tones
