Description

Qing Dynasty, 18th century
Of square section, with canted corners and raised on a low tapering foot
Flanked by two iron-red archaistic handles
Beautifully painted on the exterior with a continuous landscape, at lake side, with pavillions, a variety of trees, moutains and a lonely figure
The interior is delicately decorated with four scattered flowers
Pierced hardwood cover from later date, with inlayed silver decoration and topped by a knob jade carved in the shape of a leaf
