Description

In walnut and oak, veneered with ebony and tortoiseshell, with inlays in partially engraved ivory
Architectural design simulating the façade of a building, featuring five concealed drawers in the cornice and two doors with niches depicted in trompe l'oeil, and columns with gilt and relief bronze capitals and plinths
Sides with raised rectangular panels
The interior of the doors is decorated with tortoiseshell panels and mouldings forming raised panels
Fitted with two doors simulating an architectural façade with two niches in trompe l'oeil, columns with gilt and relief bronze capitals and plinths, fifteen drawers (three concealed), and various secret compartments
Interior of the doors, central compartment, and some concealed side compartments with mirrored panels and marquetry work in ebony, ivory, and tortoiseshell, depicting the floor, arches, and walls of a hall, with the central compartment featuring a balcony with a balustrade
Multiple pigeonholes and concealed compartments
The stand has two concealed drawers and twelve column-shaped legs with gilt bronze mounts, ending in pear-shaped feet
Legs joined by stretchers
