Silver, fineness .833. Relief decoration depicting foliage motifs and flowers in the Louis XVI style. Jardinière with protruding handles, raised on four feet. Oval plateau with matching decoration, bevelled mirror. Wooden reverse, raised on ball feet. "Javali" hallmark (1887-1937) and silversmith's mark of José Dias Ribeiro (1912-1946). (jardinière with copper core, minor signs of wear, losses, one foot missing from the plateau, and restorations)
