Each candlestick modelled as a small Pekingese dog with elongated body and short legs, recumbent, with curled tail, the fur naturalistically decorated in polychrome enamels in brown and cream tones, with cylindrical bobeche on the back, decorated with reserves of large stylised leaves in green and blue, heightened in gilt
