Chinese export porcelain. Decorated in Famille Rose enamels and gilt, the centre with a medallion depicting an animal leg on a foliage ground, framed by a garland of flowers and compositions of fruit, vegetables, and motifs alluding to hunting and fishing. Cavetto with a rocaille frieze, and border with the coat of arms of Dom Gaspar de Saldanha e Albuquerque (1719–1771), hunting and fishing scenes, flower garlands, ribbons, and the inscription "SALDANHA DE AL BU QUER QUE".
