German hard-paste porcelain
The beaker of flared form with double-scroll handles, finely painted with harbour views and Oriental landscapes within shaped gilt rocaille cartouches, enriched with gilt scrollwork and arabesques
The stand with a central landscape vignette in a matching style, the rim richly decorated in gilt
Both pieces with underglaze-blue crossed swords mark to the base
Germany, circa 1725–1728
