Ovoid shaped of strangled neck on three faceted supports ending in claw feet with large leaf finial at junction. Neck with palmettes band, horse's head spout, bud lid pommel and ebonised wooden handle

Jean-Pierre Nicolas BIBRON was a Paris goldsmith from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. He registered his first mark on "18 Frimaire an V " (1798-1799). He was based at 3, rue de Harlay until 1809, when he moved to 172 rue Saint-Jacques and then in 1818 to 32 rue Bourg-l'Abbé
