Additional Information

Antoine-Philippe GARBE, guaranteed by Jacques ROETTIERS, was approved as a Master in Paris in 1748. Evidence of his work is traceable until 1787, and some of his production can be seen at the Petit Palais, Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris and at the Metropolitan Museum

By the number of hallmarks present and the integrity of its conservation, this small mustard pot is an interesting and illustrative example of and object life through the centuries
