Maker ODIOT, of chiselled decoration with pair of doves on a ground with fruit basket, allusive to matrimonial union, flower and foliage garlands with handles shaped as interlaced ropes emerging from robust ram's heads. Resting on 4 foliage slipper feet on laurel garlands, ribbon knots and acanthus pedestal, the base adorned with scroll friezes on four cubes of foliage finials and acanthus feet
Double floral wreath lid pommel and inner gilding
Hallmarks: Minerva 1st grade, swan, master silversmith ODIOT A PARIS in full
