Gilt and chiselled bronze, Griotte marble base
Decorated with representations of Venus and Adonis accompanied by a satyr
Venus is represented on the left side wearing a tunic, with hair decorated with vine leaves. Holding a chalice on one hand and a bunch of grapes on the other
Adonis, on the right side, is covered with a leather and holds a spear on the right hand and a bunch of grapes on the left
The small satyr is represented on top of the drum, seated on a vine branch and playing cymbals
Base decorated with floral scrolls, garlands and other floral motifs, urn with fruits and mythological creatures
Mechanical movement with calendar
Strikes hours and half-hours
Enamelled dial with Arabic numerals signed Allier
Gilt metal pointers representing arrows and decorated with fleur-de-liz and sun
