Description

Chinese porcelain for the English market
Decorated with Famille Rose enamels, the centre bearing the arms of the Richardson family of Rotherhithe within a cartouche with gilt scrollwork and floral motifs
The border painted with four heraldic emblems, each comprising a demi-lion rampant holding a banner and emerging from a mural crown, alternating with floral sprays, between gilt spearhead friezes
Qianlong period, c. 1765
