Description

Wool and cotton, the central field filled with regular repetition of stylised octagonal medallions, arranged in continuous rows on an iron-red and dark blue ground, articulated with angular secondary elements and small schematised florets. Border composed of several guards, with a main guard on a light ground decorated with a repeating pattern of lozenges, hooks, and small stylised floral motifs, framed by secondary guards in tones of dark blue, red, and ivory. Finished with fringes at both ends.
