Additional Information
A closely related example is held at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge (gobelet litron with cover and saucer, Louis XVI period). The stylised swags, coloured enamel details and gilt bands show the same decorative vocabulary used at Sèvres in the 1780s, confirming the aesthetic affinity between the two pieces.
